2D Design to DXF converter
Turn TechSoft 2D Design .dtd drawings into DXF files for LightBurn. Everything happens in your browser, and your files are never uploaded anywhere.
Text and fonts
A .dtd file stores the words and the font name, not the letter shapes, so the converter needs the font to draw the text. Arial, Times New Roman and Courier New are built in, using free fonts with identical letter spacing (the letter shapes differ very slightly).
For any other font, add the font file when asked. On a Windows PC, fonts are in C:\Windows\Fonts. If the file picker won’t open that folder, copy the font to your desktop first. For an exact match, convert the text to outlines in 2D Design before exporting.
Accuracy
Lines, circles and arcs are copied exactly. Curves are drawn as short straight segments that stay within 0.01 mm of the true curve. Always check the preview against your drawing before cutting.
